Indivisible Kansas City is proud to endorse Jordan Herrera in his electoral bid for the 4th Congressional District of Missouri.

Jordan brings both youth and experience to Missouri’s 4th. Jordan served in the US Air Force for 16 years, including four years at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. His service to our country, years of work as a Bar Association-certified attorney, and personal experiences mean that Jordan has both the knowledge and the wisdom to lead with integrity. As Jordan says, “My political philosophy has always been simple: legislation exists for those without power, not for those who were born into opportunity and choice. Government exists to create dignity, opportunity, and security for ordinary people.”

IKC would particularly like to applaud Jordan for his stances on Immigration, the Iran War and the Middle East, and protecting our American Freedoms.

On Immigration, Jordan gets it right. He knows that our current Immigration system needs to be fixed, but he also knows that the current Administration’s policies are inherently cruel and racist. As Jordan says, “Safety, dignity, and due process shouldn’t depend on where you were born.”

On the Iran War and broader Middle East issues, Jordan brings his military experience and oath of service to bear. He knows that our foreign policies should not lead to more conflict and more suffering around the world. Jordan says “I will push back against this Administration, I will reinstate the checks and balances, and I will fulfill my Article 1 Constitutional duties.” Jordan has unequivocally called for an end to this pointless war in Iran, an end to unconditional support for Israel, and an end to the genocide in Gaza.

On protecting our American Freedoms, Jordan knows that the rights of the individual are paramount in this country, and he will fight for them. “The federal government should not be able to regulate your body, your marriage, your religion in schools, or your personal life decisions.”
