  • We appreciate any donations, large or small! The most helpful way to donate is to sign up for recurring, monthly donations. This provides us with more stability for our long-term planning needs.

    Also, please note that while Indivisible.org also accepts donations to the national organization, our chapter only receives funds if you use the specific page for Indivisible Kansas City which is linked from the button above.

  • No. While the national Indivisible organization is formally classified as a 501(c)3 nonprofit group, the local chapters of the organization are not. Therefore, we are not able to offer tax-deductible options for donations.

    Also, please note that while Indivisible.org also accepts donations to the national organization, our chapter only receives funds if you use the specific page for Indivisible Kansas City, linked from the button above.

  • We use donations to pay for things like the subscription costs for this website, printing signs, reserving rooms for events, paying speaker fees, etc. None of the money is kept by any volunteers.

  • We prefer that all donations come through our ActBlue page, which you can access through the “Donate” button above.

    We cannot accept cash donations at this time. If you prefer to contribute via check here are the guidelines:

    1. The check must be made out for$50.00 or more.

    2. Checks must be made out to “The Indivisible Project.” Please note that contributions to Indivisible Project are not tax deductible as charitable contributions or as business expenses under IRC Section 162(e).

    3. Indivisible Kansas City MUST appear in the memo line.

    4. The check must be given directly to the leader of Indivisible Kansas City.

  • Yes. ActBlue is used by thousands of organizations for grassroots fundraising. Every dollar of your donation will be sent to Indivisibile Kansas City for use in the KC Metro area.
